Community

Where the land thrives, so do its people.

A mine earns its place not in a permit, but in the daily life of the community around it. In the Andean highlands where we work, Glore invests in education, a yearly Christmas gift, and local employment — and in life at the camp for its own crew — so that our presence is additive, not extractive, and our social license is renewed every season.

Football for the crew at altitude.

Glore built a full-size artificial-turf football pitch at the mine camp — recreation for the crew working long shifts at altitude.

Education

Investing in the next generation.

The children in the valleys around our operations are the engineers, teachers, and leaders of the communities we will still be part of in twenty years. We support the local schools that serve them — working with teachers and families to keep classrooms equipped and pupils encouraged.

For us, education is the longest-term investment we make. It returns nothing to a balance sheet and everything to the place we operate.

Christmas giving

Christmas in the valleys.

Every year, Glore's team prepares and hands out Christmas gifts to the communities around our operations — a tradition we look forward to as much as they do.

Local employment

500+ jobs, close to home.

Through Glore's local partner network we support more than 500 jobs — and we prioritize hiring from the communities where we operate. A job at the mine means a wage that stays in the valley, skills that transfer, and a household with a stake in doing the work safely and well.

That stake shows up every morning in the safety briefing: structured training and rigorous standards for a workforce operating at altitude in technically demanding conditions.
